Bill Self, a popular and wealthy basketball coach, was born in the city of Okmulgee Oklahoma on December 27, 1962. Bill had a net value of around $10 million as on December 11, 2023. His coaching career began in 2013 when he became the Kansas's first-year sensation Andrew Wiggins. Following the rebuilding of their Golden Eagles, Self was appointed by the their crosstown rival Tulsa and spent three seasons (1998 to 2000) there compiling a Tulsa-best 74-27 mark. Self was the coach of the TU Golden Hurricane in consecutive NCAA Tournament appearances (1999 and 2000). Self was the head coach of his team, the Golden Hurricane, which had an average of 32-5 over 1999-2000. Self also helped the Golden Hurricane reach its first Elite Eight. Tyler, his son, and Lauren Lauren are the names of both Self's children. Self was born near Morris High School in Okmulgee. Self's father was the girl basketball coach at the school. A basketball scholarship was given to him through Oklahoma State University. The four years that he played, he received a commendation letter. His school, Oklahoma State University awarded him a bachelor of management degree back in the year 1985 as well as the master of athletics administration degree in 1989.
