Abbie Cornish was born in 1982. Betty Gilpin.........................American actress Betty Gilpin was fortunate to have both of her parents be professional actors. The father of her was Jack Gilpin star of such films such as Adventureland (2009) and her mother was Ann McDonough of The Mothman Prophecies (2002) as well as other films. Betty Gilpin chose to act because her parents supported and were proud of her. Fordham College became her choice for college, as it helped her develop and improve the skills required to be a professional actress. Gilpin began to act in Off Broadway productions shortly after graduating as well as casting for roles in the screen and on television. The actress was invited to guest star in the NBC show Law & Order: Criminal Intent (2001-2011) and then followed that up with small roles for the films Ghost Town (2008) and The Northern Kingdom (2009). Gilpin acquired a great deal of TV experience in the following seasons, mostly through guest roles. She finally got her major break when she landed Nurse Jackie's role as a regular on the show in 2013.
