Annette Funicello (born Annette Funicello) was an American musician, actress and performer. The most well-known part of her career was "one of the first Mouseketeers" in The Mickey Mouse Club. The singer began her singing career when she was a teenager, and later became famous for her hit song "Tall Paul" as well as "Pineapple Princess." Annette, who was brought up by Italian immigrants in Utica as a child was a introverted person. She wanted to pursue an entertainment business, and quickly switched the stage and began to dance. Mid-1950s she gained significant recognition due to her roles on "Disney" sketch shows. Annette's "Disney" persona was discarded after she turned an adult and started playing roles for adults. Her most notable role was as the pioneer of the genre of beach parties. The actress was featured in movies such as How to Stuff a Wild Bikini, Pajama Party, & 'Beach Party.' She also continued to release her music albums from time to time. Annette was diagnosed as having MS around the year 1992. She died in 2013. was diagnosed with MS and died.
